Welcome to the Adopt-a-Plant Alberta website
Adopt-a-Plant Alberta was initiated in 2005 to address the need to gather more information about rare vascular plants, bryophytes and lichens in Alberta. We train and support volunteer plant enthusiasts to monitor and locate new rare plant occurrences throughout the province. Please visit the What We Do page for more information.
